Yes thank you we have not used the the lube. We did use a rubber mallet and did think the clamp was tight enough but lid blew off once again. Trying to gather as much info to learn to properly to it ourselves. Thank you again!

We are not running the pool because we cannot get the lid from blowing off.

We are not running the pool pump because we cannot get the lid on the filter canister properly it blows off.

The only thing we have been replacing is the black clamp. No problems with filter. It is the lid keeps blowing. This picture is how the pool guy put the bolt on and that is the way we try to get it on but ours never looks like this. He will not come at a convenient time to show us how he puts it...

I know I was explaining why we keep taking off the clamp as our pool told us to clean filter. we have cassette filters is that de filter. Plus we do not have a gauge for the tank. Is that critical? It was not installed with our pump.

We have filter cassette in the pressure tank that we have been cleaning due to algae. thank you for your assistance. We have spent $$$$ this season because of this problem. Service calls several new clamps chemicals lots of time cleaning and shocking.

It be optical illusion because this s a pic that the pool guy put on which stayed on. We had to remove it again because of the algae issue that developed waiting on the part to arrive. The pool guy failed to tell us that this would happen. We have had our pool for nearly 5 years with no issues...

The one in the picture is a new one replaced by the pool guy.

The one in the picture is the one the pool guy put on. We have so much algae problem we had to take it off to wash filter again. We have bought the third one. Wanting for it to arrive from Amazon. Our pool pump has not been on for one month now. We keep shocking it to kill algae.
