    And another Intellicenter Question

Ahultin & My AZPool, Circuit Groups sounds good! Exactly what I would want to do! I also want to thank you both for taking the time to clear up a bunch of items for me. Now I do have an understanding of how this would work, Granted it is a basic one, but as long as I have the basics, I can...

    And another Intellicenter Question

Okay, now I got it! I didn't realize the Intellicenter takes control of the pump settings! It does this through the RS485 connection Got it! Now for the valves, currently they are set it and forget, but what I would like to do is have the floor/wall valve go full closed, while the Polaris...

    And another Intellicenter Question

Okay, I think I pretty much got it. But looking at the diagram, is the Intelliflow Com Port used in lieu of the Filter Pump relay or used in conjunction with it? Also I have been reading the Intellicenter Installation Manual, it's a long read, so I have an understanding on what I am up against...

    And another Intellicenter Question

Hi Guys, Thanks for the Info! Bradgray my MT400 is about 3 years old, the manufacture date is 2016, but I bought it 3 years ago. Ahultin, Thanks I'll stay with the iP8 then just for future expansion if need be. As far as the valve actuators, what I would like to do is have them automated so when...

    And another Intellicenter Question

Thanks Ahutlin, Pool & Spa Lights are 12V _ would like to control them separately as I do now. Heater Bypass- I do not have one yet- But when I do put one in yes I would like to automate the control for this. I see you have me at 5 relays, is the Intellichlor on a relay also? If not then I could...

    And another Intellicenter Question

Hi All! Yes I know this has been beat to death, but I do have some questions before I dive into purchasing a system. I have read the threads on Intelliflo Automation by MyAZPool, and the reveiws also. I j=have just about read everything I could get my hands on also. Yes to me if is a little...

    Master Temp 400 O-Ring P/N

Hi All, My Master Temp 400 outlet O-rings are leaking. This is where the slip coupling attatches to the connector tube on the heater. I looked at the parts list in the manual and cannot see these O-Rings. After looking a bit more I see a set for the coupling, slip coupling and the O-Rings, the...

Variable Speed Pump Recommendations for Energy Efficiency

Yes thanks mknauss, I forgot to break the sentence. I also should have stated mine was an older first gen model.

Variable Speed Pump Recommendations for Energy Efficiency

I also reccomend the Pentair Intelliflo VS Pump Model 022005. I bought mine in 2012 and the first month I saved $150 on my electric bill. It has worked flawlessly and I woould get another one if this one got to a pont of no repair. I've only had to replace normal wear and tear parts on it like...

    Where to drain my water

If you have high CYA levels I wouldn't send it to your grass or any other plants in your yard. I did that once with only about 500 gallons and not only did it kill all my grass, but it killed a relatively young Redwood tree that was about 70 FT tall and severely sickened my other one which was...

Leak in pool with leak detection company coming to repair

A little late to the party, but like others have said, a really great job for what you paid! Definitely keep their name on file like Kimkats said, too many times we tell everybody about who to stay away from but never give praise on who to go to. Good Luck and that is a great job!

    Bubble in Filter Basket

Thanks Mike! I agree, I will be keeping an eye on it. All in all even if it does come back, I'm just amazed thast for just a little rock and roll, (I am 350 miles away from the epicenter and I felt it, That in itself is just amazing) that it could maybe not "fix" the problem but correct it for a...

    Bubble in Filter Basket

So I have had this problem for about a year and one half. My filter basket has an air bubble in it, I've checked all the usual suspects and knew the leak had to be underground. No matter what I did I could not get rid of the air bubble, oh well it is what is is, so like I said I resigned to...

I can get a $500 rebate for buying a new pool pump. Wireless control? Choosing a pump?

I have the 011018 VS Pump, the amount of money you will save in the first month will more than outweigh the amount you will spend on purchasing a new pump. I saw a least a $125 drop in my electric bill after I installed my pump, so yes I paid $900 for the pump, which at the time was not on...

    What's your current pool temp?

So I don't know what my pool water temp is, I'm not sticking my hand in there to pull out the thermometer. Yes I know, I'm chicken! But anyway, there are a lot of very beautiful pool pictures with the snow and the surrounding trees!! Just lovely!

What's the Benefit to a Variable Speed Pump?

I have a Pentair Intelliflo VS pump. I have had it for about 3 years now. No issues, lower electricity bills and yes much quieter at lower speeds. When you start to ramp up the speed you can hear it, but at the lower speeds you don't even know it is there.

Newbie wants to install new pump

I'm up in Northern California, I had a 1HP pump similar to yours, the name sounds awfully familiar. Just like you about $150 of my month bill was due to the pump and I tweaked it to no end to try and save. Anyway, I installed a Pentair InteliFlo pump, I did see my electric bill drop by at least...

    What's your pool cleaners name?

I have a Polaris 360, after we bought the house 7+ years ago, we needed a name to call this thing by since it was always in the pool. So we (myself and my daughter) decided on Plankton, from the SpongeBob days.

    New pool build in CA

Eyetatto, Just caught your post. Congrats on your new pool!! Beautiful design! I love the coping and options for the pool bottom. I would have to agree with KimKats, the Blue Indigo and Mediterranean are the two that catch my eye. I would like to take a closer look at these two...

    Spa Light keeps blowing GFCI

For the spa I'm guessing its to tie a thermometer to, now for the pool, it's to tie the floating ropes ( guess that's what you'd call them) from one end to the other to denote the shallow end of the pool from the starting of the deep end.

And now, a Few Words on Food Safety & Proper Handling

Very good info! I had food poisoning about 2 months ago from a Co-workers retirement party where we had the food brought in by a well known BBQ franchise. And I think what you described is exactly what happened. I would never wish the pain I went through on anybody. I was always careful with my...

    Lawn Mowing Methods

Well, I don't know how big your yard or pool is but here is how I solved my problem, not only with the pool but with anywhere I don't want grass clippings to fly. I too use a mulching mower, but when I cut the edge of the grass I always get clippings out on the path towards the pool. So what...

Convert 120V pool light to 12V

Hi All, As the title suggests, my pool light went bad last year after I changed out the seal, it leaked and ruined the color wheel circuit board. I would now like to change it out to the Intellibrite 5G LED light assy, but since I have a 120V fixture, I would like some advice on...
