How fast does your sump pump drain the basin of the chiller? I recently installed a pump and it seems it drains rather slowly. I feel like it never really turns off.

I do. It controls my auto top off for the pool. My handle is different though. My handle looks like the ones on homes that control water spigots.

Very nice. Im trying to get mine dialed in. My return line from the chiller is plumbed to the suction line of the skimmer. For some reason, its allowing air to be drawn into the pump. I didnt use a check valve, so maybe that is the reason?

I still need to hook it up to my system. Im trying to learn how to wire the electrical to my omnilogic system. It's basically a 14/3 wire from the chiller. I can wire it directly to a breaker, but I want to be able to see and control it with the Omni app.

I get why you do it, but do you have to? There will be no harm letting the chiller start when the pump does. I can understand allowing automation to open and close the input line for different speeds on a VSP instead of using a red handle ball valve.

So is your pipe filled with water from the skimmer all the way back to the chiller valve?

Does your skimmer line pull a lot of air? I see no check valve before your skimmer return line.

What is the benefit of installing hayward actuators to control the split? Would there be a time where you don't want the chiller running? I can understand during winter, but a manual valve would be way cheaper to move once per year.

I'm still confused why it needs a sump pump at all. I don't understand why you want the water to collect. Wouldn't it work better if the water could flow back naturally to the pool?

Is there an option to put the screen to sleep? Having the screen always on will lead to failure down the road. Why isnt there an option for the screen to wake up when touched?

Why not use flex seal? Way cheaper.

They didnt shoot the gunite in the rain. They did the gunite on Wednesday when it as sunny. The rain didnt come until 10 hours later. Currently the pool is half way filled with rain water though. lol

They came out today and removed the rebar, dug out the clay, and reinstalled the rebar. They are spraying gunite tomorrow morning. I know its supposed to rain, so well see. Im sorry its taking your PB so long to spray.

They have been pulling the dirt out by hand through the rebar. Can the rebar be bent back to shape?

I had my pool dug out last week, but have had several heavy rains this week. This is what happen to the walls and rebar after the clay collapsed on it. What should I expect from the pool builder to do to fix this?
