I have a cartridge filter and way to divert to waist. However, the diversion to waist is after the filter. If i need to vacuum to waist and spare my filter, can i simply remove the cartridge, replace the top, divert to waist and run the pump?

@mknauss - Can you explain you to perform this connection? If have plugged in the RS-485 cable to the pump (Superflo VST 342002) and connected the yellow and green wires to terminals 2 & 3 on the ichlor 30. When connected, the pump seems to go into service mode and it does not seem to turn the...
