    IntelliCenter schedule programming help

In case anyone finds this in the future, my comment directly above worked for me but with a minor adjustment: Create "Day" and "Evening" feature circuits (no "Night") Add the above new circuits to my pump and configure the desired RPM for each For the current "Pool" circuit on my pump, set to...

    IntelliCenter schedule programming help

After fiddling a bit, I discovered I can only choose a schedule "Heat Source" if the circuit is "Pool". That throws a wrench in my above idea... I've created a "Vacuum" feature circuit that is shown as a feature. I will turn this on whenever I'm vacuuming. I added to my pump with a higher RPM...

    IntelliCenter schedule programming help

Hello, when my PB setup my IntelliCenter schedule (pool installed last fall), they just created a single 24/7 schedule for pool/heater. I'm looking to make some changes and could use some help. What I'd like to have is 3 schedules for my pump: "Day" 8am-6pm, specific RPM, heater enabled...

Yeah, I think I'm going to get the vertical one. I should install it more or less dead center on that vertical pipe?

Interesting, but when I was reading up on the horizontal flow meters, it didn't sound like it would work for my setup (there isn't enough of a horizontal stretch of pipe between my filter and heater).

Ok, I'll get the D-30200PR. Different sites are saying different flow range for the D-30200P (your chart above says 40-150 but another site says 20-110).

I think I get my hands on this one. 20-100GPM is ok? On the charts I created earlier, I had GPMs as low as 11. This flow meter won't be able to measure these. I see there is also a D30200PR that is 18-70 GPM. The manual says min 25GPM and my IntelliCenter has the heater circuit set to 30GPM...

Perfect, that was my plan. Do you use the flow switch turning off your SWG to determine when you need to backflush or still use the filter gauge? Absolutely, I do this but just want to make sure if I miss a day and the flow rate is no longer activating the SWG this won't cause any problems.

I'm going to switch my pump settings from GPM to RPM as almost everyone here has recommended. This means the pump will always sound the same (won't get louder over time as it does now) - is that true? My understanding is the flow rate will just decrease as the filter gets full. I think this was...

    VS Pump speed

Perfect, I'll order that one. I measured the distance from the drain plug on my pump to the concrete and there should be plenty of room (I shouldn't have to lift the pump up as you suggested might be required).

I think this one will work - can you confirm? Is it worth installing this without the flow meter (for now at least)? Will it still provide some useful information?

Would this one work? It's 1/4" NPT but doesn't have Hg but I can convert from PSI, correct?

I'm also very grateful for all the advise here! I have learned so much in the last few weeks! I haven't yet had a chance to open the heater and take a look - hopefully this weekend. I'm having trouble finding a vacuum gauge here in Canada, would any of these work (I don't know if they would...

You mean with the filter in recirculate? I would love if I could get the pump to run at this rate when in filter-mode! So quiet! Would that mean something is blocking/restricting the suction pipe(s)? Could it be an issue with the multi-port valve? I didn't as I wasn't sure the high GPM would...

BTW, there were no pins in the threads (those were just empty holes). I was able to pop off the end with a flat-head screwdriver (red arrow below) to remove the guts: All my ball valves are Praher (they have clear part numbers) so it stands to reason the CV is also Praher as you surmised. I...

    Ok, I got the guts out of the CV: Still couldn't find a part/model number... Here are the updated numbers with the guts removed. Didn't really make much of a difference... RPM Filter PSI Pump PSI GPM 1500 4 7 12 1725 6 9 19 1925 8 12 25 2350 13 17 37 2730 19 24 46 3110 24 30 55...

I took the check valve off again but couldn't see a part number or any other markings anywhere. I definitely see how it's restricting flow though, only a small area for water to get through around the center.

    VS Pump speed

Is there an easy way for me to try this? In the picture? That just says "FLOW" and the arrow. On the ball valves I clearly see model numbers. I'll have to take the check valve off again and give it another look. No? I thought it was to prevent chlorinated water from going back into the heater...
