    Thank you for the response. Also. I’m a bit confused with my current pentair quad 80. I was once told that I can run the filter with the current cartridge cylinder filters it has with or without DE as an option. Is that true.

    I’m going on 10 years but I have never backed washed them. I open the lid and hose down and put back in and reload DE. But I think they are over due.
