    Leaking Blower

I found the pool finish company because their guy kept not turning up and we were tired of waiting. They never told us what size to use so I do believe it’s their responsibility. It’s currently not turning on so we have to figure out why before we can even test the new size.

    Leaking Blower

Tha k Tha Thank you for the reply. The PB is saying the issue is with the faceplates on the jets and therefore not their responsibility to fix the blower. Could the 3/8” faceplates really be the only problem?

    Spa plumbed without air line

We’re having issues with a leak in our blower and now the blower isn’t working (also a new build). I saw your post and I’m wondering how to tell if our PB plumbed ours correctly.

    Leaking Blower

Our pool is new and there is a leak at the blower. The PB came out a couple times to try to fix it to no avail and now they’re saying that the problem is the size of the jet faceplates in the spa. The company who put the finish on (different than PB) used 3/8” faceplates vs 3/4” and the PB...

Fail inspection of plans aren’t followed?

Thanks! Could you also comment on my other post about 6” thick walls on a hot tub? I thought the walls are usually thicker to provide a seat.

Fail inspection of plans aren’t followed?

Thanks! Have you ever heard of 6” thick walls on a hot tub? I wrote a second post about that. The builder says it’s normal but I’m used to seeing thicker walls on a hot tub so you have a wide ledge.

    6” hot tub walls??

Hello! My builder is planning on doing 6” walls on our hot tub except for the spillover which will be 12”. That just sounds weird to me. Has anyone done this and can share photos? We have a small area to work with so he’s trying to save space by doing this but I can’t picture how this will work...

Fail inspection of plans aren’t followed?

Is it going to be an issue with the inspection if the plumbing is not exactly how the plans have it? The plans show that only two of the holes in the drain will be used but they have all 3 being used. Is that an issue? I posted pics of both the plans and the current plumbing. Thanks!

    Plumbing and rebar

Put pool is currently being built. Just curious, doesn’t the plumbing go under the rebar? The crew is laying the rebar now but the plumbing is not there so I’m confused!
