Ok so I did vacuum to to skimmer and the areas came back just not as much. My FC is at 8 and CC is .5. My OCLT showed no loss at all. My pump did kick on about 20 mins before my morning FC test though.

Instead of starting a new thread I figured I’d ask here. My pool is clear but the day after I vacuum I get these dirt spots back in the same areas. Not sure what’s going on. I am using a cordless vacuum also.

Yes I did pass all three criteria. My SWG has no PPM numbers on it. How am I supposed to know how much FC I’m adding per day?

Oh i can do an FC test that way? I usually use 25ml and two scoops of 0870 and multiply amount of 0871 drops to clear by 0.2

So I don’t clean it right after the pool clears up? I wait until the pressure rises from my starting pressure of 10psi?

I added 11oz of washing soda to increase my PH from 7.0 to 7.2. It says to run the pump for 24 hour. could I retest and add the shock before that?

Just took off the cover and it’s green. do I do the normal shock? With that I mean do I use the pump. Just wasn’t sure if I should run the green water through a clean filter. Thanks guys.

Thanks! Yes the black part is part of the filter. Their looks like a groove in the lid that the filter also sits in. I never had to press the filter down. I just place it over the pegs and twist it to lock.

I have an Aqua pro filter system and at the bottom of where the filter goes is to pegs that lock the filter into place. They broke off. can the pump run safely without these? or what can I do? The picture I attached is of where the pegs inside the cartridge filter compartment go. Just to give...
