    Thank you!

I just want to give a huge shout out to this site and the pool math app. Our pool was filled exactly 30 days ago and I've had to maintain the water balance without any knowledge or prior experience. Basically everything I've learned has been through this site and using the app. The day after our...

    New pool Pebble Sheen question

Are they a certified installer? Seems like installing it against Pebble Tec's standard procedure would void the warranty.

Pebble Tec additive bags (abalone and glass) - how heavy?

Ours is still waiting to be plastered. Should happen later this month.

Pebble Tec additive bags (abalone and glass) - how heavy?

They had different samples that showed how the different amounts looked, but we weren't able to see any actual pools. We're going with white diamond too and the plastering company said that since we were picking a white finish, the 10% would show up well.

Pebble Tec additive bags (abalone and glass) - how heavy?

Our builder quoted us adding luminous as a percentage For each 10% increment the cost is about $2000. Our pool is 16x40 with an additional 7x7 tanning ledge and attached spa. We did have the abalone quoted. Hope this helps!

Red Clay with White Pool Finish

Thanks! I should have been more specific to the situation. The pavers we want for the decking are on backorder so the pool builder said we could either wait for the decking material to come in and the deck completed before they applied the plaster (Pebble Tec) or we could place pine straw around...

Red Clay with White Pool Finish

Hi Everyone, We are actively deciding on what type of finish we want for our pool and we really like the lighter Pebble Tec colors (white diamond or arctic white). However, we live in Georgia and have red clay everywhere. Our concern is that the lighter colors will be more prone to staining...

    Heater/Pool Equipment Location

That's what were working on now. We absolutely want at the very least to have the filter moved because it is the largest piece. We're also concerned with the heater because it is less than a foot from the front of the window. I've been reading the heater manual and it says that the heater should...

    Heater/Pool Equipment Location

Thanks, but I don't think that's a requirement here in Georgia. The city signed off on the plan and have already been out to inspect the progress. The equipment was in the place it is now the last time the inspector came and he didn't say anything about needing to move it. I'll definitely look...

    Heater/Pool Equipment Location

We've already bought the heater and it's been connected to the plumbing. The issue we're having is that we hate where the equipment was placed because it is blocking the view of two windows. The pool builder told us that the equipment would fit between the two windows so we trusted him, but now...

    Heater/Pool Equipment Location

Thanks! Heat loss was the main concern we had. It seems like there could be a lot of heat loss traveling that far, but I wasn't sure if it would be so much that it would effectively make the heater useless or exponentially increase the amount of time it would take to heat the pool.
