The pool PVC pipe union came off, I don't know how and when the motor started, the pool water was drained by 1/4th, now I am refilling it, once it's done, what do I need to do? Do I need to add any stabilizer? or anything else? The chlorine tabs are already there... Please help.... Thanks a lot.

Ok great, i just bought a new 25MF capacitor and motor is working fine now... one more thing,the motor originally had a 25MF cap.. and the place from where I bought the cap asked me the HP on motor, i told him 1.5HP, then he suggested me to use 20MF...but I bought 25MF because thats what was...

I have a 11k gallon plaster pool, It was drained and acid washed 2 years back, I went for water testing and the CH level is really high 1000... The pool store recommended to drain the pool again. BUT The problem is the weather is already hot in Phoenix 80-90 degree, What shall I do ?

I had a new Hayward C4030 pool filter installed in July last year, when are the cartridges due for cleaning ? and please recommend how to clean them ? Do i need to buy any special hose nozzle to clean the cartridges ? Thanks a lot

I have 2 valves from outlet of filter, please see attached picture, the quick skim valve is always Open and Aerator is Closed... is this OK? what is the purpose of these valves..

I went to a pool store with the lid, please see pic 14 from my previous posts... he observed that this lid should have some plastic in the center to hold the shaft... is this correct ? can that be causing this tooo.... Do i need to buy just the gear or the entire assembly ?
