    Test kit holder

I like that. I think I will do it that way when I correct it.

    Test kit holder

Thanks, I don't know how I typed that up, printed it out, read it, and still didn't realize I did it wrong. I even tested the Cl a couple of times with it, and used .5

    Test kit holder

I've been wanting to make something like this for a while, but I didn't have a large enough 3D printer... until now. This is a quick prototype, hence the bad surface quality. It mostly works, I need to tweak a couple of the openings, and I forgot a space for Borate test strips.

    Is yardandpool.com legit?

I am shopping for some Jack's Magic products, and yardandpool.com has them at significantly lower price than anywhere else. So much so, that that my scam detector is going off in my head. Has anyone used them before?

Hot weather, High Ph, and High TA

I brought the Ph down to 7.2 last night, and aerated all night. Here are my numbers as of this morning: FC 6.5 CC 0 pH 7.5 TA 110 CH 350 CYA 65-ish SALT 3500 WATER TEMP 88F CSI 0.0

Hot weather, High Ph, and High TA

I'm open to any suggestions, but I'm having difficulty keeping my Ph and TA down. I'm in Texas, and it's been hot.. 111F today. I think we have had 2 days under 105 in the last 2 weeks. With that much heat, I'm losing more water to evaporation, so I need to fill more frequently. I am in the...

Pentair High Power Wireless Link Kit issue.

I restarted the intellicenter, and it connected right up. Thanks for the help!

Thanks, I’ll give that a try in the morning.

Pentair High Power Wireless Link Kit issue.

I have the Intellicenter with the High Power Wireless link kit. Everything was working as it should. I could control my pool both locally and remotely. I was doing some electrical work, and turned the power off at the breaker to my equipment room (Router, Modem, Link Kit, etc.) When I turned...

    New Pool, need advice.

Last night, my Ph was 7.5, this morning it was 8.2. TA is 380. I've got my CH up to 250. The PB has us running the pool and waterfall. We also get a little bit of aeration from the spa overflow. Adjusting CH, Ph and TA is inline with what my PB has for pool startup. However, the...

    New Pool, need advice.

I'm not running the SWG yet... most recommendations I see say wait a month, so it's just liquid chlorine for now. The only chlorine so far is from the fill water, but this Texas sun is going to burn that off fast.

    New Pool, need advice.

Thanks for the info. I am using the TFT kit for my testing. I'm about 60 miles north of Dallas, but not on city water. The report states that it is ground water from the Trinity Aquafer. When I tested it and saw how high the TA was, I was thinking I had done something wrong, but I kept...

    New Pool, need advice.

This is my second pool, but I haven't had one in about 5 years. The first one was 14,000 gallons, and we kept great with the methods here, but I didn't start doing it until 6 months in. Our new pool is about 33,000 gallons and is just about done filling. It is a SWG with plaster/pebble...

    Confusing Pool Leak

It was a lot more simple than that. After removing part of the paver deck, the guys dug down to the leak. As it turns out the Waterfall was plumped only to the 1 intake. The second one was missed, and was just a pipe running into the ground. It is fixed, and we are filling the pool again.

    Confusing Pool Leak

I have been meaning to put up a build thread... we have had a very interesting one, and I'll get that up soon. This is our second build we have done. It's a bigger project than the first one, and we used the same builder. Now to my question. The pool was completed eight days ago, and filling...

    My Oasis (so far)

They are metal and plastic. I had to order two pair, so I have a spare speaker. I think I will experiment with the painting idea & see what happens.

    Another testament to BBB

The pool is about 6 months old, and I have been maintaining it during the winter. My numbers are all in range except for my TA and FC. My TA is a tad high at 90, but I am working on lowering it. As soon as I get it down, I get to use the borax I have been stockpiling for the last few months...

    My Oasis (so far)

The only thing I am not crazy about is the speaker color. The white speakers on the brown columns just doesn't look quite right to me.

    My Oasis (so far)

We finished our pool late in the season last year. We got about 2 weeks of swimming in. I am really looking forward to spending some time out there this year! The only thing left I have to do is wire in two rock speakers, which will sit behind the pool, on either side of our main waterfall...
