Hi, I just got a mesh safety cover. I am unsure how to stop water from entering the skimmer through the skimmer lid since the cover will just let the water through. Any ideas out there??

yes I use water bags. Do I need to push tarp down on the stairs or just run it over the top so it's flat there.

Yes, there are 4 wires from each. I am not sure if they are the same 4 wires. It looks like the sub-board might use full duplex RS-485 and the port to SWG uses half duplex RS-485 and the AC power on other 2 connectors.

Yes there is a 4W running from the SWG board to the main board and I do have the connector on the bottom of the LV raceway. Sounds like I am golden. Good to hear and much thanks.
