NG heater close to AC unit?

Update: Pool builder confirmed all specs with Pentair and said it will be corrected this week. We are meeting tomorrow to go over the details of how it will be fixed. We also reached out to our HVAC person and confirmed what they see as best practice/code/etc.

NG heater close to AC unit?

We have concrete “Lilly pads” around the pool and added this for access to the side yard/equipment. We only have about 6 feet from house to fence line. We did speak to our HVAC guy (husband’s really good friend) and he mentioned moving the AC units further away.

NG heater close to AC unit?

I'm guessing our code would be similar being in Oklahoma. ugh what a mess. But I certainly don't want to risk health or house .

NG heater close to AC unit?

Please explain this. I feel dumb. I know the pool heater will release carbon monoxide. However, the AC unit is the blower, compressor and condenser and from my understanding does not intake this air for in home circulation. The unit releases heat from the condenser. We have no...

NG heater close to AC unit?

This makes complete sense and crazy how hot it gets. Currently my exhaust from the heater is 6 inches west from the top of my AC unit. We have two AC units and this is a smaller one. All of this is located on the north side of our home. I’ll take a picture today to post. Thank you for your...

NG heater close to AC unit?

My builder installed the pentair NG master temp heater within a foot of one of my AC units. I was reading the manuals today and it says minimum 36 inches. I have already contacted my builder and waiting for reply. However, in the interim, I want to really understand the ‘why’ of this so I’m...

    - New Build in Oklahoma - update Plaster

Since I last posted we have had lots of movement! Tile, coping, and concrete decking have all been completed. It's amazing seeing it come together from our brains to paper to yard. I know our style isn't everyone's cup of tea, but we are loving the raised pool! The bigger concrete pad in the...

    - New Build in Oklahoma - update Plaster

Gunite!!! So fun to watch every process. Our PB has been amazing. He hung out with us on dig day for 4-5 hours and then again another 4-5 hours on gunite day. Explained everything that was happening and was constantly talking with the crews to make sure all measurements were on the mark. We...

    Pentair Lights

I have read and re-read the information on here concerning lights and recommendations and I can't seem to put a finger on why it is recommended to go microbrites vs intellibrite. I'm not mechanically-electrically inclined so please just dumb it down for me! :ROFLMAO: My pool will be 14x26...
