    In case anyone was wondering, it took 7 trips with a 2-yard dump trailer to get rid of most of the dirt. There is some left around the hole from leveling and fine-tune widening.

    NOW they're level! lol. I used decomposed granite to raise the ones that need it, and dug out more to lower the remaining. This clay soil has a mind of its own so it will be interesting to see what shifts and when.

    Level on clay soil

    What are you thoughts on putting crushed granite under each concrete paver block? Any experience with them sinking in clay after heavy rain?

    Its not noticeable unless yo bend the board a little. I was just wondering if anyone else’s is scored.

    I bought these from Home Depot - I'm installing a 15' round 52" wall pool. HII Recommends these as minimum.

    Good info. I was thinking 2" foam board but I like your suggestion about the crushed limestone under the 1" foam I concur with your assumption that the liner should be fine in either configuration.

    Funny story! I'm down here in South Texas and it's supposed to be 90 today, in April! All I can find locally is the XPS pink foam board in 1" - and 2", which is preferred?

    Hello All, I will be posting build pictures of our progress very soon. I have question about the foam board installation. Do the column pavers need to be dug in, flush with the level ground or are they supposed to sit level on top of the ground so the foam board butts up against the paver? @kimkats
