Low PH (7.2, barely), high alkalinity

How do I bring the alkalinity down (it’s at 150) when my ph is roughly 7.2. I’m afraid to add acid due to the ph level. All ideas are appreciated!!

    6”-8” depression

No sir/ma’am. I haven’t done that yet...but it’s an excellent idea. I need to. I don’t think we’re losing water. But it’s been raining so much this week I’m not sure I’d notice the water loss. Unless it was a large leak.

    6”-8” depression

I'm not sure how old the pool is (it's my sisters pool and she bought it used, I think). However, the liner is brand new. Just installed.

    6”-8” depression

I have a new depression in the floor of our above ground pool. It literally just formed today. It’s roughly 6”-8” long and 4”-6” wide, and appears to be a couple of inches deep. I havent been in yet to inspect it. But was curious if that’s symptomatic of a common problem? a leak perhaps?

    Leak

I can imagine. I wondered if I was missing an o-ring or gasket for the cap. But after I broke the first cap, and ordered a new one, it didn’t come with one. Which is proof of nothing really. Ha. ive moved onto a new leak. The multi-port Valve is leaking out the backwash opening. I can tell...

    Leak

I bought some last night. Can it be applied wet? At this point it will probably have to be. I was able to tighten enough this morning to get it to stop. Not convinced that will last. Putty definitely my next move. Thank you for suggestion!!!!

    Leak

I agree, it does look that way. The thread tape is the culprit. It’s crooked. Update. I used the Vaselin, and thought i had the leak stopped. I went out an hour later and it was dripping again. I tried tightening it again, slowly, small increments, and it crossed the threads. May have put too...

    Leak

The valve on the bottom of my above ground pool is leaking. I broke the cap tightening it down once already. But the new cap is leaking also. I’m new to all this plastic Hardware...and am wondering if silicone or some other type of sealant is routinely applied. Of course I used thread tape. very...

    Unlevel Upright

Hey guys! I'm new to the above ground pool family, and am installing a pool. Yep...a true newby. It's a family member's pool...who has owned it for years, and recently moved. And now it's in my backyard. And full of water. I was just walking around the pool and noticed one of the uprights...
