trivetman is correct.... I have the Circupool UL55, the cell maintenance light comes on every 500 hours (if I'm not mistaken) and all you have to do is inspect the cell to see if it needs to be clean or not. Press and hold down the system status button and the flashing will stop.

I kind of wished that Circupool would have sent you a replacement cell to see if perhaps you got a mislabeled UL25 or maybe you received the correct cell but like you mentioned above it is a dud.....but I’m happy that they are trying to make things right by offering you a full refund because...
