Ariel getting stuck on Warrior SE cable

I have no plans to! I hope I can keep the Warrior going for a few more years.

Ariel getting stuck on Warrior SE cable

Gotcha, thank you. No, I'm not that much of a glutton for punishment. If it's been attempted without success, I doubt I'll have any myself. It sounds like I need to get more disciplined with a schedule of putting the robot vac in and taking it out. Perhaps my next robot will be a cordless...

Ariel getting stuck on Warrior SE cable

Hey y'all. I have a Warrior SE, and have recently bought a used Ariel skimmer on eBay. Overall, I LOVE the combination. I swear when it was new, my Warrior would keep EVERYTHING clean, but now it doesn't seem to clean as well as it once did. Maybe it's in my head, but there are always a few...

To cover or not to cover

Thank you. I keep the robot going in the pool, and maintain low free chlorine levels. I try to keep a trichlor puck in the pool through winter. It's just that sometimes, out of sight out of mind! 😄😬 We still have periods where temps get into the 60s and 70s, and I have to make sure to pay...

To cover or not to cover

Hey y'all. I live in SC,and we have a 20x40 in ground vinyl liner pool. Not this past fall but the previous fall we put a new liner in. I've been maintaining this pool for 5 or 6 years now, and it came with a nice safety cover that has the spring loaded anchors in the concrete deck around it...

    New liner is being installed

With this style pool, I guess I don't really need to worry about the pool being empty in the event it ever gets drained for one reason or another?

    New liner is being installed

Thanks, to all of you! It's a great transformation and it absolutely feels like a new pool! The wrinkles were a pain in the rear. Hard to clean.

    New liner is being installed

The best guess is 10-12 years.

    New liner is being installed

I've seen that mentioned before. The story I've been told (pool was put in mid 70's) was it began as a normal soft bottom liner pool. They had problems with ground water floating the liner, so they say they tried to combat that by putting concrete on the bottom and having someone "blow...

    New liner is being installed

He's finished. Now just filling it as fast as I can at a whopping 9 gpm! Not a single wrinkle. The old liner was badly wrinkled.

    New liner is being installed

They cleaned and scrubbed for a while before they started putting the liner in. We love it! We have some other things we want to do with the colors of the paint on the deck.

    New liner is being installed

I found someone I like to replace our liner. Our pool is 20x40 and the price is $4900. I don't think that was too bad. It was interesting to see the pool under the liner. The bottom is concrete, the walls are fiberglass. He said he's never seen a pool like it. I have photos that won't...

    Would you repurchase your dolphin?

I had a Pentair Warrior SE that I absolutely loved, until it quit just outside of warranty. A $700 robot (now $850) needing a $450 repair after two years puts a bad taste in my mouth. That said, Pentair was gracious enough to send me parts for free, so I'm very thankful for that! However...

My new motor unit came in yesterday. Now I need to order some magic lube II so I can try to seal it better before installing it.

    Liner Replacement

I just got off the phone with him, seems like a great guy and probably someone who's great to do business with. He told me he does service to my area, but that he'd probably be twice as expensive as someone local to me, or as a pool local to him. I picked his brain about Kiker wanting me to...

    Pb4 booster pump voltage

The 280 is shaft driven. How often do you need to replace belts or bearings?

    Pb4 booster pump voltage

From my limited research, the 280 is their most simple, basic, and longest lasting with the least maintenance cleaner. That was my biggest reason for considering the 280. I don't want something else that's gonna need major repairs every 2 years. The one that was in this pool when we took it...

Pressure is what I meant to say, I just misspoke. I'll probably get the Polaris 280.
