Thank you to all of you who posted on this plumbing problem. Here is the correct install for this equipment setup. Pentair needs to have a better installation and user guide.

I had no issues today, but I have a technician coming tomorrow so hopefully they can clarify this optional bypass question. Pentair doesn’t give very clear instructions.

Thanks Jim, I had my flow switch replaced by installer; however the heat pump only has 60 day warranty. Just didn't expect stuff not working before the first swim. Glad to have a forum to discuss issues. Hopefully someone can give me a thumbs up on the heat pump plumbing. Something doesn’t...

Got the pool up and running this week with a bad flow control and now issues with my brand new Pentair Ultra Heat Pump. I don’t think I was meant to have a pool. I’m glad I found this forum:)

Not yet. I will eventually connect it to the IntelliTouch system. They didn’t have the RS-485 wire when installed.

We just had the Pentair Ultra Pool Heat pump installed. Worked great on day one but now seems to be going into 5 minute restart mode every so often. I am wondering if the plumbing is installed correctly before I go into calling warranty company. Cannot get the pictures posted right side up.
