Seems it would be doable if you had the correct chip libraries installed in the Arduino IDE and could connect from the Arduino board to the Pentair board. Is there a pinout available for the Pentair side? Would I be safe in assuming the pins would be the same as other 6-pin programming...

Yeah, it looks like water may be pooling at that particular edge of the board when it rains. I may pop the top off again and see if drilling a couple small drain holes might help.

I know there are a bunch of threads about E05 errors in these heaters but I just went through this whole exercise and what I discovered might help someone else. My E05 error started about 3 weeks ago. I swapped the SFS out, cleaned all the Crud out of the heater and put it back together...

A quick Google search lists a bunch of drive failures pages and the same frustration I'm having with Pentair in getting parts/info to rectify the situation... Again, the drive will run the motor just fine, I have to turn it on and off manually as it won't "talk" to the EasyTouch panel.
