Adding Salt for the first time

@Dirk @Brett S thank you for all the input. This is a pool that is 30 days old and has been a coloring pool until the 30 day mark. I just put the ic40 inline near the pool equipment and wanted to check before I add that much salt to the pool. I will order the Taylor test kit to supplement my...

Adding Salt for the first time

I looked at the manual for the SWG IC40. Am I reading it right that I need 600 pounds of salt for a 20k pool?

IntelliCenter + single IntelliValve controlling multiple water features

    1. On the serial board itself, there are the 5 white intellivalve only plug in's (j8-j13). Does anyone know where we can find the plugs for those plug in's? 2. Where does the J4 wire connect into, the only serial plug on the board is being used by another device. Do I use any open 4 wire...

Yes it was cloudy for about a week and a half. Not sure why it was, I did a sodium bicarb set up and it was completely clear until I turned on the pump. It is crystal clear now I haven't installed the SWG, I need to wait the 30 days from the initial start up. I use the numbers the most but...

    BYOP Frisco TX Build!

I did the same BYOP, have you passed the pre gunite inspection yet. I wouldn't bury the pipes until after they passed a pressure test, in case you need to fix them. There appear to be lots of dirt left on the site to bury them. The pool outline lumber will be fixed prior to gunite by the...

    New pool start

I decided to do a sodium bicarb start with my new pool. I must have miscalculated the amount of sodium bicarb to add the fill water. my TA is at 440... I read to lowering my PH down to 7.0-7.2 to help combat this. Any recommendations? Bi-Carb recommends Alkalinity, which should be anywhere...

So the pool fill is a little over 1/2 way. The water looks super clean right now and I can't wait to start the pump and start enjoying this thing. I am using the Bi-Carb start-up method and so far so good. I worried about keeping the chlorine level high enough with the start-up. I have...
