    Help with SWG Wiring

Hello again! I appreciate all of your help so far. I was able to do a lot of reading and figured out the wiring issue and how to convert to 120 appropriately. My next question is about bonding. Reading the manual for the SWG console, it says to use the lug on the side of the unit for attaching...

    Help with SWG Wiring

I didn't know that about Ozone systems. I've read on here that people don't much like them, and to be honest I don't even know if it's functioning (I don't know how to check), it came with the house when I bought it. I think in the instruction manual for the SWG, there was a page about...

    Help with SWG Wiring

Good afternoon, With help from these forums, I decided to purchase a Circupool RJ60+ in order to convert my pool. However, when I went to hook up the new unit, I ran into trouble. I'm not above hiring someone to install it for me, however I thought I would try to make an attempt myself first...

    Air in the pump?

Some updates: First off, thank you for your continued help, I greatly appreciate it! I opened up the cartridge filter and took it apart again. With the cartridges removed, I started the system again and everything ran much better, pressure was around 10-12, and no air in the pump basket. I...

    Air in the pump?

Just to clarify and make sure I'm doing this correctly, take all the cartridges out and reclose the shell empty and run it?

    Air in the pump?

They are probably around the 8 year mark, so that could be it. Although, to my untrained eye, they don't appear to be falling apart or anything and withstood a good hose-down with the high pressure setting well. I rechecked all the valves and tinkered with them and I didn't see anything wrong...

    Air in the pump?

I rinsed them off with a hose, no chemicals involved. I put everything back the way it was, at least I think I did. I could take it back apart tomorrow and check. How do I know if the cartridges are bad?

    Air in the pump?

This might be a dumb question, but is there supposed to be air in the pump basket? I've attached a picture to show what I mean, but it's hard to see. There appears to be a sizable air pocket now instead of water being flush with the top lid. Previously, this air was not present, but it seems to...

    SWG Plumbing Question

Looking at what I'm reading online, the RJ60+ should also be able to fit in pretty easily, is that right?

    SWG Plumbing Question

I apologize for the delay in my response, yesterday was a very rough day. I've updated my signature with model numbers and here is the control panel I have. So the SWG would have to be connected to the left side of the main part of the panel? On those load terminals? Is that a job a DIY-er can...

    SWG Plumbing Question

Another quick question, the outlets on the side of the control panel, are those specifically for addition of a SWG? I'm hoping to be able to just plug into those to make everything easier.

    SWG Plumbing Question

Yeah, I was worried about it being too tight as well. When you say vertical loop, do you mean a simple area of pipe that moves from the filter, juts out to the right, wraps around, and inserts in the same area from the other side? Would that negatively affect the flow at all? Sorry, I'm new to...

    SWG Plumbing Question

I don't have a spa, so that's not a worry. I'm looking at the CircuPool CORE55 at the moment but I'm open to suggestions. This is still in the planning stages for me. Thank you for your help!

    SWG Plumbing Question

Hey all, I'm looking to add a SWG to my setup and have started doing some reading up on DIY install vs professional, different systems to choose from, etc. I was initially thinking about adding the SWG inline immediately after the filter (red arrow), but would it be better to add it vertically...
