    Just Liquid Chlorine

Are some of you just using liquid chlorine (no powdered shock). Is there a benefit to just liquid and no hyper chlorite or powdered shock?

After researching why my pool continued to get green and require brushing ever 2 days I discovered that it was likely due to my CYA being off the charts high. I ordered the TF-100 test kit and began the process of lowering the CYA. I’ve have drained and refilled over half of my pool 3...

    SLAM help

I haven’t added any chlorine because the SLAM procedure said to get the PH down to 7.0-7.2 first. SomI was trying to follow that procedure. I’m using a LaMotte ColorQ Pro7 Liquid Test kit.

    Hello from Texas

Hello, Introducing myself! I built my first pool last year and up until Now it’s been fairly routine maintenance with no big issues. I have a geometric pool with an 8x8 hot tub and 2 8x8 sun ledges. The pool capacity is ~36,000 gallons with a pebble tech bottom. Oh and it’s chlorine treated!
