What happens if I'm not done slamming by the time I leave town wednesday? (got my reagent last night) I do have some pucks from the past that ive heard are good for vacation time.

Last night FC-14 this morning FC-11.5 CC-0. Added more chlorine. Haven't retested yet. Now my ac won't cool below 85 as of last night and i can't even get in the pool to cool off. When it rains it pours. o_O:ROFLMAO:

Last night FC-15 7am FC-12 CC-.5 We did have wind last night that blew some debris into the pool. Another 118 degrees expected today. I am concerned that it seems there is yellow dirt sticking to the sides that doesn't come off with brushing. Should I be using a metal brush? thx

yeah, i figured all that chlorine would do a number on the rubber/plastic parts. I've had 3 different estimates on the size. I think its probably closer to 19k.

Just realized gf changed to the cheaper MA. It is only 14.5% so I had to recalculate. Added rest of the gallon.

Before slam my FC was 4 and CYA was 30. Then it went to 7 when tested 3hrs after beginning SLAM and adding 1.75 gal chlorine. Obviously FC was not high enough so i added 2.5 gal chlorine and it went to 14. I have not gone down on FC at all. It was never at 12. ;) I will not be swimming anytime...

It wasn't a loss at all. (was FC 4 in the beginning) I just tested again after 3 hrs. FC - 14 and CC just barely very faint pink, so one drop turned it clear. so .5

yeah peggysue, Trichlor pucks are a no no around here. They say the CYA builds up with the pucks and eventually your chlorine stops working and pool turns green. Switching to liquid is a pain in the behind. I just spent $7800 getting the pool resurfaced and cannot afford a SWG. I live in north...
