Pavers over concrete-thin vs thick pavers

Has anyone done this in climates that freeze? I'm in Ohio, I can picture water getting in between the paver and concrete, expanding and heaving. I guess the key would be to have adequate drain holes drilled through the concrete deck.

    Concrete deck coating suggestions

Hi, looking for suggestions for some type of epoxy/ paint to add some color to an ugly mismatched concrete deck. Concrete is in good shape, just two different shades of gray. Because of this, I think a stain product would not work in this case. I think I need a good paint/ epoxy. I realize I...

Anybody ever use Olympic Patio Tones concrete acrylic?

This one: http://www.kelleytech.com/olympic/olymp ... oating.asp My concrete is only 2 years old but has weird color variations and stains where the cover was. I think a concrete stain would highlight these flaws. Apprciate the feedback!

Do I need a main drain?

Looking at getting a 16 x 32 vinyl liner installed. Builder is proposing 2 skimmers, 2 returns but no main drain. Pool will be 5' deep at deepest, with most of it being 3'6". They said they can put one in if I want. Please advise, Bob
