I was concerned as well so I have mine in a case from harbor freight on my home built caddy.
It gets warm so I usually leave it open unless it's raining/expected to rain

Cleaned all my test equipment like PoolStored suggested and did a full retest.
Guess I had some cya at open as it's higher than I expected. Not in best spot for SLAM but at a good level for when SWG gets started.
Still same puzzling FC results though
Opened pool last weekend. Ended up getting too busy to drain the cover so everything on top got dumped in the pool. Needless to say pool is very green as a result.
Been busy with a number of things so I have not been the best at keeping up with constant testing and dosing so the fact it's still...
Does the spring loaded door close for you when submerged horizontally? I have had a similar experience though not to that extreme. Mine doesn't change at all. No idea if that's the issue yet as I have a new door to install but won't be able to test for a few months due to the weather (pool is...
I didn't purchase the caddy but built one from a harbor freight hand truck. Built it for my warrior see but it works just as well for the evo. The control panel doesn't work as well in the box as the warriors did but it fit

Submerged on steps with top open. That door doesn't open or close for me, float stayed in open position even when under water. It might have worked the first year but something is wrong now. And today after running twice I had more stuff on that white grill before I pulled it up than I took out...
The S200 style did move along the waterline sideways while this one just goes up. Not sure how far it would go but it does do that outside their promo video
Jim,
I wonder if either the door or the seal isn't working properly for me. Yesterday when I pulled it out of water all of the hemlock needles it picked up flowed right out the door and back into the pool. At least recently the only thing in basket when I take it out is what sticks to the side...
I also recently found a tray behind the white cover on the back that had a ton of small leaves and dirt in it. Likely cause I tossed it in immediately upon opening but there is a tray back there that is collecting stuff for me
Mine responds almost immediately with pushing the buttons. Is the wire connected fully and no dirt and no dirt in connection? Any water get in it? Wonder if there is a bad soder connection but don't think it opens easily to check
The Evo comes by default with what has been called the standard filter. It has the coarser squares on the side of it. There is also a fine filter available. I posted the sticker for the fine filter a few posts up. Marina does sell both coarse and fine filter as separate parts
Mine points to the one with just 4 squares. Thanks hadn't seen that post. I think I will get a the fine filter too and can see if they do any differently. The coarse got a lot but always felt like it didn't quite get as much as the dolphin with the fine filters
I purchased one from them a year ago and don't think it was an option then but if they are doing swap i guess it's probably a pretty safe assumption it's not the fine one. Thanks
I have been occasionally using the Windows 10 app for pool math. It gave me an error saying premium account wasn't active, it is active in my phone. I tried signing out but can't resign in anymore. Is the Windows app still supported?
Mine works really well with leaves. Mostly sees ~3"x4" oval shaped leaves but it will pick up til it's full and input is slightly clogged (easy to clean out). Unfortunately no indication without stopping it that it's full.
Yea I had zero expectations for steps as well that's why I either brush like you mentioned or have a pool blaster hand vacuum for that.
I need to do an oclt, there have been some other hints but the SWG has been maintaining and water has remained clear for over a month but maybe something is...
Thanks for the replies, certainly don't expect anyone to dump sand in to test :). I'm going to try and run it at least twice this week and see if that helps.
My filter is very small and by TFP standards I should be cleaning it daily as it seems to rise 25% within 24 hours but I haven't had...
Jimrahbe or anyone else with an Evo, I've been noticing mine seems to push a lot of the sand towards the edge instead of picking it up. Not sure if this is just from running once a week or something else with the robot. It still picks up a lot, but I didn't notice the same with my Warrior SE...
