Mine points to the one with just 4 squares. Thanks hadn't seen that post. I think I will get a the fine filter too and can see if they do any differently. The coarse got a lot but always felt like it didn't quite get as much as the dolphin with the fine filters
I purchased one from them a year ago and don't think it was an option then but if they are doing swap i guess it's probably a pretty safe assumption it's not the fine one. Thanks
I have been occasionally using the Windows 10 app for pool math. It gave me an error saying premium account wasn't active, it is active in my phone. I tried signing out but can't resign in anymore. Is the Windows app still supported?
Mine works really well with leaves. Mostly sees ~3"x4" oval shaped leaves but it will pick up til it's full and input is slightly clogged (easy to clean out). Unfortunately no indication without stopping it that it's full.
Yea I had zero expectations for steps as well that's why I either brush like you mentioned or have a pool blaster hand vacuum for that.
I need to do an oclt, there have been some other hints but the SWG has been maintaining and water has remained clear for over a month but maybe something is...
Thanks for the replies, certainly don't expect anyone to dump sand in to test :). I'm going to try and run it at least twice this week and see if that helps.
My filter is very small and by TFP standards I should be cleaning it daily as it seems to rise 25% within 24 hours but I haven't had...
Jimrahbe or anyone else with an Evo, I've been noticing mine seems to push a lot of the sand towards the edge instead of picking it up. Not sure if this is just from running once a week or something else with the robot. It still picks up a lot, but I didn't notice the same with my Warrior SE...
Yea the free version only saves last result. For some reason I get an error saying it can't load on yours but I can pull up others that responded. Might be on my end though not really sure
So you added up to 16ppm of cya depending on if you let all 4 pounds dissolve. Make sure to check and...
Most likely pollen, I've seen a lot of it this year too.
Do you know what you expect to be at currently for cya based on past readings and what you added? Can't see your logs for some reason so not sure if you just added today. CYA takes 24-48 hour to show up on a test again, so you should be...
I personally don't know if TA of 200 is high enough to warrant immediate action, someone else here should be able to answer that, but generally FC is first priority. You have a cloudy pool so need to SLAM
1. Get pH to 7.2 - aerating should work until you get an answer on the TA since that is...
I have two filters and I am seeing some improvement after soaking in dishwasher detergent each day.
Would it be a bad idea to put enough bleach in with the dishwasher detergent to bring bucket to slam level?
Pool started green and I'm working through the SLAM. Water is clear but I haven't passed oclt yet.
One thing I'm noticing is that even after soaking cartridge filter in dishwasher detergent pressure still is up around 23psi same as before soaking. Last few years clean pressure was somewhere...
Even if using the net without seeing what you are picking up until it's out of the water, more you get out, faster you will get through the slam. Each year I have tried to put more of an emphasis on getting more of the leaves out sooner and each year I have seen an improvement in time to getting...
Do you have a net that you can attach to a pole and fish stuff out to help the robot? Otherwise pull the robot out to empty more frequently I have found mine once it gets full to a certain point just starts pushing stuff around so running full 2 hours is often doing nothing towards the end
Do you think a 20 x 40 sized cover would be enough to allow it to be supported by the water and cover the steps which are another 5 feet to the long dimension?
Yup that's not happening cost wise for me and I would need the anchors too assuming there was an option to install with pavers that pop out pretty easy.
Thanks for the info
I am looking to replace my current cover which is too small for my pool and previous owner used a rope system to support which I would rather not deal with anymore. While I like the idea of a safety cover I think the prices of those are probably beyond my budget currently.
I have a 16x32...
Hmm not really sure about the white powder hopefully someone else will help you get to an answer there.
Sand filters are the slowest to clear unfortunately but hopefully it will clear up soon.
You're clearly pretty handy so I would consider the circupool SWG. Their warranty is diy friendly and discount salt pool has them in the $1k-$2k range for the cell and controller. They often run a promo to get 1 size up for $10 more as well.
Only other downside to circupool I am aware of is...
Also for the FAS-DPD test you can save some reagents by using a 10ml sample and one heaping scoop of powder instead of 25ml. Each drop is then 0.5ppm instead of 0.2
