First let me start by saying I switched to the BBB method last year (after being a Pristine Blue user - which seemed to stop working for me) and my pool has never been cleaner, clearer, and/or more sparkly. Plus, testing & adjusting daily is so easy! Now, to my question. I have some friends...

Just curious as to why it is best to add chlorine & muriatic acid slowly? Switched over to BBB at end of June.....purchased my test kit........pool is sparkling clean & smells so fresh.......even with the continuous 100+ degree days we have been having here in Oklahoma!

I seem to have some algae stains on a few areas of my pool? Now that I have switched over to the "trouble free pools" way.......will those go away w/ time or is there something I can do to get rid of them? I have recently switched over to TFP from using Pristine Blue. We have used Pristine...
