I have a 18x33 oval above ground pool. Having trouble figuring out which way to point the return jet. If I point it away from the skimmer, the flow just goes to the opposite diagonal corner and doesn’t seem to circulate well. So do I point down and towards the skimmer?

I’m in the St. Louis area(Illinois side). Still researching our best option. Are you doing this yourself? My wife just had a rep from Kayak come out that quoted us on burying one. Seems awfully pricey
