    Hayward Prologic controlling lights?

Just checked and they are 1.5" Hayward colorlogic LED lights. The pool installer is great from a construction standpoint... however they are not very tech savvy. I think the logic in using this interek box is that it has a small RF remote so you can sit it on the table and control the lights

    Hayward Prologic controlling lights?

Looking for some suggestions, my pool installer installed our lights in what I would call a strange way. I have a 2 part problem and am looking to upgrade and do it a better way to control the lighting. We have a Hayward Prologic controller setup along with the color logic lights, the low...

    Jandy 4715 - inlet marking

Thanks, that said maybe I will skip the 3 way all together for now. I will still get rid of the crappy ball valve (and 2 90 bends) and install the 2 way Jandy on the suction side of the pump and go from there. I can always install something like you pictured down the road after I can research...

    Jandy 4715 - inlet marking

On the 3 way valve I am not sure how I would accomplish that, I do know that you can open them up and move the inlet position but I do not believe that solves my issue/question. I want the flow to run straight through and this valve wants the flow to work in a 90 degree operation. You can...

    Jandy 4715 - inlet marking

Question as I'm reading some conflicting information and thought best to post here. We had a new pool installed last year and before we open up next week (located in Canada for reference) I want to change a few things with the plumbing. Ordered a Jandy 4724 two way valve for suction side of the...

    Tristar VSP plumbing question

He suggested it was normal, Hayward also said the same until they saw the 90 out of the pump. Next week I'll be ordering the Jandy valve and at minimum I've asked the installer to put a straight section along with the new valve in place. I'll report back ?

    Tristar VSP plumbing question

The lines are 1.5 inches, not certain why they ran the flex lines up like that but all in all it seems to be functional. So realistically I should have 7.5 inches of straight pipe on the suction side? I was thinking of simply asking them to turn the pump around as that might eliminate both 90s...

    Tristar VSP plumbing question

Appreciate the insight, and I will take a few additional pictures tonight at those RPM. The pump has been running almost 2 weeks now and it does not seem to be getting lower over time and I am not losing prime. Even at high speed I have an air gap. I tend to agree this is likely not a major...

    Tristar VSP plumbing question

Just had a new pool installed and had a question hoping someone more knowledgeable than me can help with. I have a Hayward Tristar VSP pump which is priming no problem however seems to have some air in the basket, I contacted my pool builder and he said this is completely normal. I then...
