Thank you. One thing I've discovered is that SER is printed whenever the control knobs are moved from the "auto" position. It's possible one of these knobs are failing.

Wondering if anyone knows troubling shooting steps for a Hayward PoolBoss. I found the installation manual but nothing about diagnostics. Basically when the filter timer comes on the system keeps turn on/off. When this happens the control panel reads "SER". AFAIK, there's only two sensors...
