last question (i think) for you and AJW- if you had to buy another heater - which brand would you buy? this thing is old and if the service person can't fix it, im going to break down and get a new one.

Is the airflow switch open or closed with the blower off? - I dont know - how do i tell? Does the airflow switch close when the blower starts? I dont know this either Does the blower run at full speed when it's on? The only time it goes on it when I jumped it and it didn't go full speed

can it be something as simple as a bad air flow switch?

the diagnostic led on the module flashes once which according to the manual indicates "air flow fault" What can I do to check that? The wires although frayed look like they're making contact - i'm wondering if this "air flow fault" is the issue and not the wiring?

it was so sunny I didnt best I could with the sunlight - This has happened once before and I think the previous repair guy used those splices let me know what you think - anything glaring about why the blower wouldn't kick on? I tried looking at the wiring diagram to figure it out but no dice

never mind on this. I took the panel off to check the Ignition Control Module and there was a big mouse nest and a few critters back there. They chewed the wires and made a mess. I'm going to have to call an expert to come in and fix it

With the wires removed from the airflow switch and the wires not connected together, measure the resistance from one terminal of the airflow switch to the other terminal. - That was the second video - the needle did not move at all. it stayed all the way over to the left
