I have a Glaciel Chiller which works with my Pentair Automation with no problem. Can turn it on/off, set schedules for it, etc. I love my Chilner and wouldn’t trade it for anything down here in Houston. I also have a MasterTemp 400 for the Spa/Pool. Just a matter of preference.

I just bought this a few weeks ago from Amazon for my M30. I believe the M30 and S300 are basically identical. It fits perfect. I don’t know about leaving it out in the elements though. Mine is under my porch near the pool.

My Racer is giving me problems so I’m going to bite the bullet and buy a Robot. Do I need to plug off the port where the Racer is anchored in the pool?? Or just disconnect it and go about my business?

I have same issue. Spa drains water in freeze protection. Doesn’t do it any other time except in FP mode. I just use my manual valve that I typically leave on pool only and turn it towards spa so that some water is going to the spa when it flips automatically to pool mode in freeze protection...

My suggestion whatever you decide is, do not get abilone shells mixed in. If I could do over again that’s the one thing I would do with my Sapphire Treasure plaster. I’d get extra glass beads.

Yeah I’d love to see somebody in Texas who had damage to their Master Temp when running it in the winter for a Spa. I mean if you can’t run the Spa in the Winter down here what’s the point?? You going to run it in the 100 degree Summer?? Lol

I never understood this. So heating a spa with WATER Temp above 50 deg 4-5 days a week on a Pentair MasterTemp should offer no risk of damage. Is that correct? Again I’m just talking about the SPA
