Thanks James! I am running my pump 10 hours a day and the SWG for about 7 hours. I had bumped it up to 36% but when I went to Leslie's last weekend the chlorine was 5ppm and they suggested that I dial it back a little. It is now at 30%. I added a bag of salt after the rain last week and I had...

Thank you. It is very relaxing to be back there. I believe those are red sisters.

I drained the pool around midnight last night as the water got up to the coping. It took around 20 minutes to get it to the lower level of the tile. When I woke up this morning the water was halfway up the tile which is the ideal level. Thankfully the rain wasn't as bad as Harvey. If you leave...

For some reason the site won't let me upload any images showing the water close up. I get a message saying file too large.

Thanks James and Kim. Here are a few more pictures. My plan is to build a deck behind the lounge chair that backs up to the fence. Also some sort of cover/protection for the pool equipment.

Just checking in. No real issues to report since the pool had been trouble free :). I am going to try and get some good photos this weekend. Here are a few randoms.

Sure thing man. I've had my SWG set at 30% and have been running the pump for about 6 hours a day over the "winter". So far, I've only been testing the ph level at home and I do a test at Leslie's every two weeks. My tests are always good with the exception of the ph being slightly high a few...

Sorry to hear about your dog. It was good that he was able to experience the water before passing.

Almost at the finish line. While I do my testing at home, I try to go to Leslie's every 2 weeks to verify my results and also to have records if needed in the future.

Great update! As for decking, it will never be enough. Even after adding almost 200 sq ft to my original design, sometimes when I'm outside I think I should have added more. I'm sure you'll be happy at the end of it all.

Those options look great! I didn't get the bullnose either as it would take away from my geometric shape (house and pool). Love the ledgerstone/coping combo. I personally prefer the first back up tile but they all work. l remember stressing over my tile after it was installed but truth is once...

No prob man. It can go either way. I think it depends on how busy the other components of the pool are. Post pics of your selected options when you get a chance.

Thanks. I love the color at night too, nice view outside the window. Here are some daytime images. The pump is running so the steps are not super clear but still clear enough.
