    thanks @mknauss i should have said after cold spells i bring temps up to 70 not leaving heater on after just the pump i just dont let water go below 50 deg and if i do i use Liquid chlorine because SWG cell does not work it is a little bit of a pain but i dont want any chance of freeze...

    well i been in structural concrete for 45 years i sure think that floor needs to be jack hammered out and a solid sub grade replaced then re pour or as Pprior said then pour over that one more thing the longer that pool is drained you risk walls failing . even if you did place rebar...

    @cowboycasey is right do not let them pour the concrete deck as is 1 do not pour on ground with grass growing big no no. 2 separate coping from deck with expansion material and the backfill needs to be very good or well i think you already know good luck .......... watching/ jimmie

    any temps at 40 deg. and rising your good . your ground temps just do not ever pour concrete on frozen sub grades other than that hope for good temps for 3 day at least .

    its solid well built only thing i have 8 returns it should run off them and it does not work not enough water pressure so i use my pressure side pump not really the way i wanted but it makes a water fall as a bonus lol. (it is made well but small so teens dont give it a look) they like the rock...

    there is your calcium go to Liquid chlorine only and is your heater on it and your SWG can cause flakes how are you testing ? what kit?

    Endless Pool owner in Virginia -- need to learn about CYA

    really nothing but time /splash out / water change will decrease CYA. the chlorine granules (and what is in the granules?)some have cya in them vs just using liquid chlorine if you read / take advice of most here you will be in charge of pool water balance so first thing a good test...
