Ok I will try this, thanks

    Magic Stream Laminars

I’ve done that too and the problem here is that both Laminars are on one transformer so they are not controlled independently. I can get one light to sync, with the rest of the pool lights, but the second is always a different color.

    Magic Stream Laminars

Thank you, I’ve tried that via the screen logic app, but it did not work. Do I actually need to toggle the lights on and off from the panel?

    Magic Stream Laminars

I have two magic stream Laminars hooked up to the same relay. They have some how gotten out of sync and the lights are never the same color. Any ideas?

    Thoroseal question

Question about the thoroseal for the negative edge spa walls, The tile guy put it on the entire outside wall of the spa, and only to the bottom of the tile line on the inside of the spa? Shouldn't the entire wall inside the spa be coated, not just to the bottom of the tile? Is there any issue...

    Arctic Lagoon Tile

We love the tile and we are very happy with 99% of the install, it's just these 4 seams that are giving me a little bit of heart burn. That said, easy to live with if I know it can't be any better.

    Arctic Lagoon Tile

Curious, does anyone have any pictures of their Arctic Lagoon Tile, specifically pictures of cuts to their tile? My tile guy can't seem to make a straight cut on these glass tiles and Im wondering if its tile issue or a skill issue. Thanks

    Negative Edge Spa wall slope

So I'm trying to find out what people are using as a slope/grade for the negative edge spa with a "sit and spin" entry. Was thinking of using .5" for the 12" spa wall, sloping to the inside. Does anyone know if any issues with this? Shotcrete guy suggested 3" which is too steep for the look we...

So shotcrete guy recommended a 3” drop for the nagative edge spa but this seems a little steep to me. I was thinking 1” or even 1/2” slope to the inside but I’d like some advice from the community. Thanks

Moving right a long, plumbing came in and was pretty straight forward, as was the steel. Electricians did their thing in two days and we are now ready for the first inspection.

    Laminar plumbing

Curious, does the laminar drain line, at the bottom of the box, get plumbed back to the pool or does it terminate somewhere else?

Thats what Im afraid of. I really don't like the idea of cutting the tile for the light but may go that route. Ill see how we are measuring out once the rebar is in, which should be this week.

Does anyone have any pics of a glowbright in a standard 9” (6” below water) Baja shelf? I don’t want to cut the tile to mount it and I’m a little concerned there is not enough room for it between the tile and floor of the shelf.

Actually Im referring to the spa design being negative edge all the way around. It was referred to has a "knife edge" in my design. My concern with this is the precision required for it to function as designed.

So this will be my first pool build and I look forward to any tips and tricks anyone has. My only real concern is the knife edge spa and getting that set up correctly. The plumbing, Rebar and Shotcrete subs all have "extensive" experience with these so Im optimistic.
