$5.09 worth of o-rings and the leak has disappeared. Thanks for the info, I didn't realize the CVA24 mounted on top of the diverted valve. Saved me from spending a lot of extra cash for nothing.
Took about 15 minutes to replace the o-rings.
I have a Raypak 206A heater which is just over a year old and no power.
Fired up the heater yesterday to bring the pool temp up a few degrees and I noticed the I wasn't getting any heated water. I went out to the unit and the display was blank like it had no power. I removed the cover and and...
Are you referring to the connection that I have circled in the photo? I believe its pretty straight. I believe you mean the connection being on a slight angle like the line I drew may cause the type of failure I had.
My pool equipment is on the side of my house so it's a little distance from the main drain. I wouldn't say an excessive distance(30ft). My pool filter PSI reads between 24psi to 32psi depending on which zone the paramount 6 port valve is running. I have 16 pop up in my paramount system. 1 zone...
I replaced my Pentair IC40 SWG just over a year ago and I've had another failure. It's leaking from all around the seams. Has anyone had similar failures. Both of SWG failed in the exact same way.
Living in west coast of Florida and its been raining none stop for 24 hrs and it looks like a few more days of heavy rain. What is the best thing to do after the rain stops?
I'm replacing my paramount 6 port module. After I removed the module I notice on the bottom it appears some type of gasket was applied. It was white in color and pretty deteriorated. Does anyone know what to use for the gasket?
I noticed that my pop ups on the pool floor were all up at the same time. I suspect its the water valve module that's causing the problem.
Any thoughts?
I have 1 pump which runs my pool and the spa. If I turn the spa on the valves switch to run the spa. I also have a water fall and fountain in the spa. If I turn the spa off the water fall spills over into the pool. What if I shut off both the water fall and water fountain will the water in the...
Installed my Raypak 266A propane heater. Easy to wire. Had a little problem setting up for Remote. The install manual was a little confusing on how the Remote works. Finally figured out that you have to turn it to "remote off" to set the temp(for pool/spa) and then turn it back to "remote" for...
Living in Florida so I don't heat the pool only the spa. Have no desire to heat the pool to swimming a couple of times (maybe) in the winter. I use the hot tub all the time in the winter and heating my spa 15 minutes faster isn't really a big deal to me so I don't need 440000 BTU heater.
See link for my post below. I'm trying to do the same thing as you. Looks like we have similar setups. I'm replacing my Pentair 444000 BTU Mini Max NT heater with the Reheem 267.

As you know it's expensive at the pool store. I have a friend who has a side pool cleaning business so I asked him to get me some CYA. It comes in 100 lbs canisters. I want to keep it in the garage but was a little concerned about corrosion.
Thinking about replacing my Pentair Minimax NT with a Hayward Universal H. My Pentair Minimax is so unreliable and I'm sick of messing with it. Don't want to put any money into repairing a POS.
Other option would be Pentair Maxtemp.
I just bought 100 lbs of CYA. Did think about how to store it. I was going to put it in three 5 gal buckets with plastic lids but I'm a little worried about corrosion. Though about the side of the house but my A/C units are close.
