    Indoor Pool Glass Roof Renovation

Wow wow wow. That's gorgeous! I fantasize about enclosing our pool. Of course that would never happen being in US California. Maybe one day when we win the lottery :ROFLMAO:

    Solar Cover Questions

That's what we did before we got the reel. Albeit a bit smaller pool. My goal in everything I've done to my pool was to make everything convenient. If it's convenient I'm more likely to use it on a regular basis. Solar cover with reel, SWG, robot, etc.

    Solar Cover Questions

You can still use a reel. Have it go across about center of your pool where that jog on the sides happens. When you roll it up, it'll pull it up from there and roll both sides up on the reel. When you roll it out you will have to coax the sides out, but it's not that hard to do. I have the area...

    Solar Cover Questions

I have a medium sized pool. I guess you would call it a free form? I usually get my solar covers from Amazon, Sun2Solar like SJPoe said. My current cover is the 1600 series, rolls up fairly neatly on the reel. The reel is a Rocky's Eazy Roller. Super heavy duty, no sag, 'EAZY' to use. I put the...

PoolMath will no longer save changes

I just heard back from Leebo and was told to clear the data and cache for the app. That solved my issues.

Reinstalled Pool Math App and now won't open...

I'll shoot you an email this evening after company leaves. In the mean time I'm going to try updating my phone to see if that does anything. I'm on Android. Galaxy Note 10 (so...older), but everything was working until recently.

Reinstalled Pool Math App and now won't open...

I was having issues with the Pool Math App this morning, so I uninstalled and reinstalled, because that has fixed problems in the past, and now it won't open at all. It starts to open, then crashes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled like 3 times. Anyone have a solution? Also...is there a web...

I'm about to hit a wall

Could that explain their stubborn cloudiness? According to their spreadsheet (early on) they had an increasing TA reading. @Zoilaa , I think it's time for a full set of tests.

I'm about to hit a wall

Your calcium went from 175 to 725 in 10 days? Or is that a typo? I feel like I've read high calcium along with high TA can cause cloudiness, though I've never experienced it myself. If that is not a typo, can you account for how it rose so fast?

    White floating stuff

OP you came to the right place, I saw your post on FB too! Without any other information regarding levels, it'll be hard to get advice. My vote is - it's probably pollen. Clicking on your profile shows you posted about this very same thing a couple years ago. I know people suggested maybe...

Pre pool opening (white water mold)

Before I went SWG I did liquid chlorine for about 3 or 4 years. I had to have my CYA around 50-60 to keep my daily loss about 3-4 during the hottest part of the summer in full sun if I didn't have a solar cover on. I added my LC after the sun went down in the evening. I always dosed to about...

    FC and CC same

The powder is in the pro too. But it's literally just a tiny scoop of the powder. It's not any more difficult than the drops. It comes with very precise instructions too. You definitely want the speed stir though.

    Soft Water and Boric Acid

My borates are about 35ish. I was aiming for 40 but didn't quite get there and the 35 is enough to stop the SWG scaling for me so I called it good. My acid additions are about every 5 or 6 days vs. every 2 without.

What to do with Old Liquid Chlorine

I either throw it in the pool or use it for cleaning. Works great for toilets.

    Will my pool become salty?

You can use the "effects of adding..." calculator in pool math. 8 oz of 10% liquid chlorine adds about 3 ppm of salt to the water in your size pool. If you're adding that much every single week, it'll take you about 20+ years (starting from zero of course) to reach the salinity of my pool. And...

Big divergence between measured salt level and what the SWG reports

Was it generating when it was reporting 2100? BTW I started up my SWG today and it was reporting 2700 when my k1766 test gives me 3400.

Big divergence between measured salt level and what the SWG reports

I notice a bigger difference between the salt test and the onboard sensor when the water is cold. I haven't turned on my swg yet (about to do it today), but I expect to see it show a low level. In the summer when the water is 87 degrees it tends to get within a few hundred of my test results...

    Another dissolving CYA topic

I use skimmer socks and tie them to a bamboo plant stake and hang them in my skimmer (better water flow instead of just letting them sit in the basket). Go out and squeeze them every now and then. Took two or three hours when I did it the other day with 60 degree water. I let my pump run about...

    Aiper Scuba S1 Review

Could you tie a piece of rope to the handle and the other end to a small piece of pool noodle or something? That way you can stand along the edge and as it crawls past you, you can yank it out. I doubt the small piece of noodle would interfere with the Betta.
