Is the slope to deep end “usable”??

Let me throw this out there... we went 3ft to 6ft on our pool. I'm glad we did, and it was the PB idea. We walked in to sign the contract, he looked at my wife and said "how ya'll feel about making the shallow end 3ft?" She is 4'8". She enjoys her 3ft shallow end. Also, it has help give my 6yr...

    RPM Recommendations

I don't really see your pump contributing much to the bill. I run my pump 24/7 @ 1750rpm during peak months. Now its at 1750 from 10a-6p now that fall is upon us and my water is already 69f.

    Grease on Leuders Stone

That stone is pretty pourious. I have it for coping and I have given up on trying to keep it perfect. It is what it is. Best I've seen on youtube is pressure washing. But, be careful with your nozzle distance to not damage the stone. Very low pressure! You might want to get a sealer on that asap

Wiring SWG to auxiliary on Jandy VS pump

Wire your SWG to Aux 1. Aux will become hot @ 1725rpm. No need for GFCI if your pump is GFCI protected. I'm on my way home. I'll take a picture of how mine is wired. Give me 30mins

    Stupid pump question....

Good analogy. Makes sense.... I've been reluctant to close my valves more than half. But, I'll try it tonight and see how it goes. Thanks

    Stupid pump question....

Now that is something I did not consider. Good idea. I'd be happy with a 1/4 to 1/2 reduction. Sounds like a good winter project after I shut the pool down. Thanks for the idea.

    Stupid pump question....

    Roger that. Thank you, sir.

    Stupid pump question....

I have a 1.5hp pump for my bubblers and waterfall. Will I shorten the life of my pump if I choke it out by closing the valves going to the features? Love my bubblers and waterfall.... but sometimes it's so loud in the pool I have to really crank up my music to hear. I like the water movement...

What did you do to your pool today?

First time I've looked at it like that. Yes, that would be a good thing:)

What did you do to your pool today?

So.... is the fine filter worth it? I have been contemplating getting it. Powpow does a great job, other than the ultra fine dirt.

    Pool Safety

Kids? Heck, what about dad safety? My kids are constantly trying to kill me in my pool. I wake up in the mornings felling like I got hit by a train. All joking aside- the designated lifeguard is a great idea.

How high you running your SWG?

Yea I forgot swimmer load. That's a big factor. We're in our pool everyday 2-8hrs at a time. I also have a 5yr old that'll start chuckling, swim over and tell me he just peed the pool.

How high you running your SWG?

For reference. I'm in west texas. It's been 101-107 and my pool is 90degs. Edge40 @ 62.5% and pump @ 2100rpm both 24/7 and my FC is holding around a 7-9 with CYA @ 70
