To shock the pool, I used Super SHOCK-IT 73 I do have a SWCG My wife did a calcium hardness test, Came back at 250. PH level was close to 8 yesterday. I have never done a ph test that didn't come back a little high.

Thanks, ill get some pictures this evening. After doing some readying I do believe its calcium scale. My PH level is staying on the higher end. I just shocked the pool and we have been having some quick thunderstorms roll through the area every day.

I have a taylor k-2005. I wanted to check CYA level in the pool The test kit was completely full and I could just barely see the dot at the bottom of the kit, but I could still see it. Lowest # on the kit was 30. This bad? I'm learning here!
