White powder accumulating on bottom of pool

@Rancho Cost-a-Lotta and @mknauss - Thank you both for the inputs. Over the course of this week I walked the TA down to 50 through numerous MA-doses. My most recent pH is 7.5, and CSI is -0.36. The white precipitates have completely subsided, I cannot find any at all to sample, so that’s good...

White powder accumulating on bottom of pool

I did such an effective job of vacuuming yesterday, that there’s not an accumulation of powder anywhere, to catch a sample of the powder (using the turkey baster). I was not accumulating more powder whilst I turned down my Chlorinator this past offseason, so I thought it was a foregone...

White powder accumulating on bottom of pool

I watched white powder buildup on the bottom for the past two years, and finally gave in and vacuumed it out today. I would appreciate some ideas on measures that I can take to prevent more white powder buildup. A few observations that might be worth reflecting on: (1) Over the life of this...

ScreenLogic Connect and ScreenLogic Config missing in iOS App Store?

I called Pentair Tech Support, they too found out about this and addressed with Apple this afternoon by the time I called. All three apps are now Live in the App store - Screen Logic Connect, Screen Logic Config, and IntelliCenter. Thanks @kimkats and Pentair.

ScreenLogic Connect and ScreenLogic Config missing in iOS App Store?

I upgraded iPhones and seem to have lost my SLConfig App. I can no longer find the SLConfig App in the Apple App Store, nor is the ScreenLogic Connect App there. I do get a message that suggests it is not available in my Region (the US). In general, the only Pentair Apps I can find now are...

Taking the Plunge (literally and figuratively) with My Pea-Green Pool

Noted, I did not pick up on that being suction-side type of vacuum. Best of luck.

Taking the Plunge (literally and figuratively) with My Pea-Green Pool

One pro tip for the next time you need to drain water quickly: Like you, I have cartridge filters and no other way to drain my pool than through a bib & garden hose. During Hurricane Harvey I couldn't drain water fast enough through the garden hose. It occurred to me to use my pool cleaner...

Is it necessary to keep the salt up in the winter?

My experience with the IC40, after two years, is that it’s PPM readings are highly sensitive to water temperature. Above 80F the IC40 correlates well with the K1766...as water temp comes down the IC40 reading separates from K1766, only registering 60% of my K1766. My daily FC loss is less than...

CSI & CH Advice for New Pool

Thank you both for the inputs. The pH drifted up to 7.6 and my CSI is back above -0.6. My fill water has CH 130. I retested may pool CH and its at 325. Based on these latest tests and your recommendation @mknauss, I'm going to just monitor and let CH come up naturally with fill/evaporation.

CSI & CH Advice for New Pool

I've enjoyed a TFP since first-filling in April. Chlorine and pH are well under control, and I've raised CYA to recommended levels for SWG. With the new Plaster, and three scuppers running regularly, its not surprising that I'm adding MA every 2-3 days to maintain pH below 7.8. Before being...
