    Sounds like the windings are starting to fail. Time for a replacement motor or get yours rebuilt. You'll need to figure out what makes the most sense (new, refurbished, repair) dependent on the age/condition of the current motor.

    Need help with my filter system

    If DE is being blown into the pool you most likely have a failed DE filter grid or a loose/broken top manifold (part that holds down the grids). Best to take apart the filter and remove the grids for a thorough cleaning and inspection.
