South Florida Pools owners: What are your CYA levels?

With my SWG, I’ve ramped my CYA up to 90. Pool essentially gets 100% sun all day. At this level I’m losing 1-2 ppm/day of chlorine with light use.

TIle Selection - Blue or Natural?

Hey Epster, Fellow Clermont resident with a build underway as well. I had a similar debate with the wife, and we went natural, going with NPTs sierra blue slate. Considering you're planning on a raised bond wall, I'd go natural, for what it's worth. Hoping it comes together similar to this:

    New Build - Central Florida

Design has been finalized! Decided on NPT tropics blue mini pebble, NPT sierra blue slate for our waterline tile as well as extended bond wall, with some glass tile worked into the design. For our decking, we're going with sand colored pavers with matching coping.

Brentr, I saw in another thread you have an outdoor tv setup. How did you go about getting cable access outside? Always been a dream of mine to lounge in the pool catching the games with football season fast approaching.

    New Build - Central Florida

After following along with the countless builds on the forum, it's finally time to start my own. I'm currently awaiting ground breaking on a 14x28 classic rectangle, delayed nearly two months due to "engineering delays" per the pool builder. Our pool will have a significantly raised bond beam...

    West Florida avg cost?

Central Florida here. Under contract on a 14x28 gunite, pentair equipment, heater with cage and I'm slightly over 50k; granted this is with upgrades like mini pebble, pavers, swg and color changing LEDs with a 2ft high bond beam. For just a basic pool, no decking I was quoted between 25-30k...
