Thoughts on type of Fish Tape for 90ft run

It may be too late, but you can also use the plastic bag and pullstring trick. Wad up a plastic grocery bag (or maybe a half a bag if you've got 1/2" conduit. Tie a pull string to that, and then suck it through the conduit with a shop vac (probably a wet vac since you've going to get water...

Just got Pebbletec 7 days ago and pool tech dumped salt into it… should I be concerned?

I can't fully recall, but I think our pool company added salt fairly soon after the Pebbletec went on at our first pool 7 years ago. Never caused any problems in that time. Salt concentrations are pretty low, it might not be ideal, but I doubt it's going to cause issues in the future.

Hayward Variable speed pump just quit

That is an RF choke, it is a passive device. If you smell something from that it could be melted wire insulation from the wires inside it. Can you post more pics of the pump interior components?

Options for continually failing Hayward LED lights?

The pool was finished in early 2017. Since then we've had at least 8 light failures in total, which never seems to surprise the pool repair guys. For the pool light that is currently needing replacement I can see water intrusion in the housing when I look at it underwater. I never looked at the...

Options for continually failing Hayward LED lights?

All 4 of the Hyaward LED lights we have in the pool and spa have failed at least twice so far, some 3 times. That was fine when they were under warranty, but now that I'm replacing them out of pocket, I am curious if there is a better option? We have 3 of the larger ColorLogic lights (12V I...

    OmniLogic Network Trouble

I found the Hayward wifi module to be very unreliable (it's an OEM'd EnGenius unit, Engenius used to have issues in congested wifi areas, which was certainly my case). I ended up hardwiring my unit, just because I prefer that, but if you can't hardware I would dump the Hayward wifi unit and...

    Hayward OmniLogic Install

Install looks pretty good. We also have an OmniLogic (installed by pool builder). So far, I have been very underwhelmed with it. No digital control of the 4 Hayward LED lights attached, it has to clunk a relay on and off to cycle through the options. It's handling of DST is a massive design...
