    Aiper Seagull Pro Review

I have a similar shaped pool, my robot behaves the same. In fact the wall mode doesn't really work at all, the multifunction mode does a better job at wall cleaning the the dedicated wall mode. I also see my robot once it gets into the deep end rarely leaves (basic play pool, 5' deep). I have...

    Aiper Seagull Pro Review

Well wall cleaning was a bit of a failure, it only made it half way though my small-ish pool (15x25 rectangle play pool) before the battery died. It had a hard time with the waterline, the scrubber doesn't seem to run very "aggressively". I agree with @tcat the dial is a stupid and must have...

    Aiper Seagull Pro Review

I ran our first floor only cycle last night, my pool bottom didn't have much in it but i was pleasantly surprised to see fine granular sand/dirt picked up since that is what i was hoping for. In Arizona I don't have much of a leave issue, and the in ground cleaner does well, my expectation for a...

    New Pump Advise

I have a hayward SP3400VSP and I have hated it for the last 4 years since new because of how loud it its, it works fine but I just replaced my AC and now this is the loudest thing in my sanctuary. During the boredom of covid I did ended up building a "pump shack" around my equipment which...

What detergent is recommended to use in a pressure washer to pressure wash Shasta pebble coat surface swimming pool after completely draining pool?

I have pressure washed mine the last two season, no issues so far. I don't use any detergent though. I don't get aggressive with it, 1800 psi~ 1.2 gallons per min or something like that.

High CH; RO refill service in Metro Phoenix

I don't know if this is helpful or not but I had the same challenges fighting PH and I think that switching to dry acid and only using a single CYA chlorine puck a week boosted with liquid bleach or chlorine has kept my PH down steady in the 7.4 area /w a CH ~825/TA140/CYA 75 -ish, I live in...

    Hayward Lighting/ColorLogic Stock Issues

Thank you for the lead, I will give that a try. I have spoken to my pool contractor who is a Hayward dealer and another national dealer but they seemed pretty clueless to be honest. I am sure if I can get to the right dealer I can get a line on the part from someone that understands the...

    Hayward Lighting/ColorLogic Stock Issues

Does anyone have leads or ideas on who might have stock for Hayward lighting products LPCUS1110/LPCUS1150, I have been unable to find anything in stock locally or on the interwebs. I have a Hayward niche that only fits this light unfortunately unless someone has been able to figure out an...

    Concrete Water Feature Sealing Question

I guess i am refering to the location at the bottom of the bowl where the plumbing comes in at. I don't have issue with Algae growing anywhere else but in these bowls, my chems are good. I am in Arizona I will try to get some pictures of my actual bowls tomorrow, thank you very much for the reply.

    Concrete Water Feature Sealing Question

Sorry for being so vague on the feature, its a square concrete bowl that overflows into the pool. The issue is at the joint where the plumbing comes in and the alge only seems to grow or stick to the area around where the plumbing is sealed from. Thank you, Roger

    Concrete Water Feature Sealing Question

New pool built last year, the water features had not been (IMO) correctly sealed, one to prevent leaking, and two deter algae growth. I had the contractor come back out and they attempted to repair by just adding another layer of sealant but it was coming apart by the end of last season. I would...
