beautiful dogs..do they swim also? My husband wants the lab to get in the pool this summer. I say NO...cause I can just see her getting all wet and then coming in the house and shaking the water off. Will be a nightmare!!!

I have a salt water pool. My two dogs like to drink the water from the pool instead of coming in for fresh water. Will this harm them?

I did what you said and just put the stabilizer straight into the skimmer, no sock, slowly and it worked perfectly!! No more hanging a sock from the rope in the pool...Thanks Tina

Yep.....that was my error. But the pool place also told me not to pour it in straight to the filter. Oh well......Tina

I was told not to pour it in without a sock. When I put it in the skimmer it shot my pressure up so high I didnt like it. Just shows there are many ways to do it, just find one your comfortable with!! Tina

I had the same problem. I hang a panty knee high hose from the rope that separates the deep from the shallow. After a couple of days I get in the pool and squish it around and it is mostly dissolved. I leave it a few days more and squish it up and its gone. Tina

Its on a ball valve, so I can adjust it half way open. That wont hurt it? Thanks Tina

Our pool has two bottom drains and a skimmer. Is it necessary to keep one bottom drain open? Thats the way it was set up, but the skimmer doesnt pull enough. When we close the bottom it pulls just fine. TIA Tina

My pool store gave me a pellet type stabilizer that I had to disolve and then add to the pool. Well 4 days later and I still cant disolve all of it. :evil: Please tell me there is another type of substance that I can add easier. I have a salt water pool. TIA...

All our jets in the pool were aimed down. I took them and aimed them up to make water movement. Is there a reason to aim them down? or can they stay like they are? TIA Tina
