This was the run time it said for my exact pool. It had a list for all the pool sizes in manual. I run swg 4 hrs and it does great. I ran pump 8 hrs and all looks good

no not that my pump. in the pool school it says to run atleast 8hrs when you have a salt system. I dont want to run it 8hrs if i dont have to. in the manual for the intex sand filter it says 2hrs with out swg and 5hrs with swg.

I have a temporary pool so i will have to test every year being i will take all water out. I have already used 6 of the ten strips I had just setting it up. I am a testaholic I must admit. lol

Which one do you all recomend. I love my tf100 kit. Im currently using salt water strip test kits and they seem to be doing a great job. Just they are 12 dollars for only 10 of them at local pool store.

ok and seems like you all must be correct being all of you all said same thing. lol. what do you mean by a suction side vacuum. like one that uses pump for cleaning and not one that has a built in motor and doesnt use pool pump.

cool. so let me see if Im understanding these pumps. if you have a high hp pump that isnt 2 speed you will have to have a large filter so that it can keep up with the water that inputs through it. If that is the case then why would you buy a bigger hp pump if lower is cheaper and will work...
