The "blue" was from the new plaster dust. No mystery there! Will check back later with the pool store results. Maybe it will be magically better when I get home later today... I can always hope, right???

I will take a garden hose water sample to the pool store and see what shows up there. The only other thing I'm wondering is if it's my pump or filter? I'm thinking if the pump weren't working, I would know that right away. It is a bit on the older side but seems to be chugging away like it...

Sorry....there is 1 more thing that has gone into the water - CYA, in a sock, in the skimmer - when needed. Once I got it up to around 30, it has stayed pretty steady.

The chlorine isn't in a free fall. I'm only dropping 1 or 2 points, max. I just tested and my FC only dropped .5 overnight. I will take and post a pic as soon as the sun comes up.
