I always pull my stairs out in winter so I can get the cover over the pool. The first year I was going to leave them in but I couldn't figure out a way to get the cover around them where leaves would not get in.

I had the same issues with my hot tub filters. There were three new filters two blue and one white. The blue filters were oily, I wiped them down but after I put them in there was a visible sheen of oil on the tub.

Hey @A.O. We have a leslies right across the street from us but they seem overly expensive for most things and not very well stocked. I've been driving to Watsons about 5 miles away to pickup stuff for the hot tub. How's the Leslies near you stocked?

Thanks @jimmythegreek abd @RDspaguy. I think that'll I'll rip some plywood and attach it to the 2" x 4" so that it's perfectly straight and flat. It's going to be 4-5.5" thick.

aboykin2269, I've been wanting to do this with my 21' Round pool. How did you cut yours so that you got it shape of the pool? I was thinking about laying it all out on the ground and using a string to mark the foam. Any help on how you cut it to fit would be appreciated.

Our skimmer looks very dirty on the inside. It's not algae but sun screen, dirt, pollen and other gunk. Normally I would just get a washcloth and some dish detergent and clean it. I'm not sure that it would be a good idea. I also thought about using a magic eraser. Any suggestions? Thanks Joe
