It does kind of sound like a leak. I have a similar issue as the OP. But after thinking more about this thread, made me think that CH would probably go down as well with a leak. Or alkalinity. Personally, I haven't had any of those decrease at all

I was literally just wondering this today. Mine was 80 45 days ago and now it is 50. My pool temp is heated and is 88 during day. Perhaps averages 85. Likely caused degradation if other thread is correct. I don't have a lot of splash out- certainly not that much.

I am installing an outlet in my Pentair EasyTouch box. I already have a GFCI protected plug on the outside and I want to use that to make a downstream plug inside the box that is connected to a relay. At the moment, there is a light attached to the GFCI. Would this his setup be to code or...

OK.. took your advice. I used the top load terminals and fed directly into the standard terminal with both the red and white. So now both red/white ports on the load side will be used. The pool light is then only relevant in its current setup (since it piggy backs of the GFI). Let me know...

Based on everything I read, it seems that cutting the cord of the Stenner voids the warranty. Not ideal. The other issue is my EasyTouch is outside. I do have a GFCI plug on the side of the box - but again, from what I see here, by attaching that particular outlet to the timer relay load...
