I checked all my connections and used the plastic wrap around my lid like you said. Still getting air. Even after the water starts to spurt out the bleeder I can hear air continually spurting out with it. Any other ideas?

Thanks. I'll be adding borax tonight to raise the ph and going to buy some more shock in order to slam my pool. Just going to keep working on it. Do you think the ph is what's creating that milky water? What else would you suggest?

I bought the kit that specifically stated it didn't come with a ph tester in it. I had the paper and thought I could save a few bucks. I may end up having to buy a test anyway if the paper is unreliable. Batavia is in Illinois about an hour west of Chicago

Honestly I just used some PH paper I had on hand to test the water. I got the smaller kit due to being a little short on cash. I got a lot of the big leaves and gunk out. Still some left I'm working on but the majority is gone.

So I got my kit today and here are my first results. FC- 3 CC- 3 TC- 6 CYA- 20 TA- 40 PH- 6 I'm hoping someone can lead me down a path to clear water. Please help!
