    If FC is at or above the recommended for CYA and no CC present, but mustard algae is present...

    Since mustard algae is tougher to kill with chlorine, does its presence after weeks of treating and brushing at TFP recommended chemistry levels and frequency warrant the same concern of bacteria and/or viruses that green algae presence does?

    Can the pool water still be tested at high FC levels?

    Hi again! I have been having to keep my FC level high while fighting algae and I don't want to take it down low enough to test the water chemistry because the algae returns at those levels. Is there a way to test pH, TA, CH, and CYA at high FC levels?

    Losing the Resistant Mustard Algae Battle

    I desperately need help with mustard algae. My pool chemistry as of 10 AM today using Taylor K2006 and TF100 kits: FC = 6 CC = 0.5 pH = 7.2 TA = 70 CH = 170 CYA = guess of 10 (keeping trichlor pucks in floaters and based on FC readings). The test has slight cloudiness when done...
